A fabulous storytelling project, working with the talented pupils of St Vincent's School in Liverpool. The Magic Bench is an allegorical tale of the power of nature and the benefits it brings to our wellbeing.
“Tell me a fact and I’ll learn. Tell me the truth and I’ll believe. But tell me a story and it will live in my heart forever.”
What makes storytelling so effective for learning?
Telling stories is one of the most powerful and effective ways to deliver a message.
It is how we are taught to listen and learn as a human. Storytelling forges connections among people, and between people and ideas.
We develop stories as a teaching tool to help
deliver subjects across the whole curriculum.
